He grew up on the welfare system and faced immense adversity, losing his father to a heart attack in 2016 and his mother to cancer just ten months after opening the gym. Having grown up without privilege, Nate decided to risk everything for his dream, working 15 to 16-hour days, seven days a week, and personally managing the expansion’s layout, design, and daily operations.

“I’d rather fall flat on my face and fail, but at least I tried, because I’ve been poor and broke my whole life,” Nate shared. His hands-on approach—whether he is managing a massive crew of plumbers and electricians or personally reorganizing the dumbbell racks—sets a standard of excellence that members respect. His advice to other business owners is simple but powerful: prioritize discipline over motivation, and make all of your decisions based on improving your customer’s experience.
